The Gameplan: Academic Edition

This privacy policy describes how The Gameplan: Academic Edition ("we", "our", "the app") handles your information.

Data Collection

The Gameplan: Academic Edition does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data — including homework assignments, focus tasks, check-in reflections, and XP progress — is stored locally on your device only.

No Account Required

The app does not require user registration, login, or any form of account creation. There are no usernames, passwords, or email addresses collected.

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or device information.

No Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. Calendar sync generates a local .ics file — no data is sent to Google, Apple, or any calendar service.

Children's Privacy

The app is designed for students of all ages. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements.

Data Storage

All app data is stored in your device's local storage (localStorage). Clearing your browser cache or deleting the app will permanently remove all data. We cannot recover deleted data as we never have access to it.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
